Employment • Articled and commenced practice in Stratford. • Moved to the provincial government and attended regularly before the Commercial Registration Appeal Tribunal in Business Practices Division. • Director of Legal Services for the Corporation of the City of Mississauga from 1978 to 1989. • Partner at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP 1989 to 2002 • Joined Willms & Shier 2002-2006. • Became a sole practitioner in 2006 and is currently practicing in Oakville. Appointments • Appointed by the Council of the City of Toronto in 2006 to be a member of the Election Compliance Audit Committee. The Committee conducted hearings in 2007 under the Municipal Elections Act, 1996. • Retained as Acting Town Solicitor for the Town of Aurora in the fall of 2008 to the spring of 2009. • Appointed by the Council of the City of Toronto to the 2010 Election Compliance Audit Committee. • Appointed to the Joint Audit Compliance Committee for the Towns of Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Georgina, Richmond Hill, Whitchurch-Stouffville and the Township of King.
